“ALL TIME HIGH” WITH EPIK HIGH IN TORONTO

On March 23rd, South Korean alternative hip-hop trio Epik High performed at HISTORY Toronto for their “ALL TIME HIGH” Europe & North American Tour. Toronto was the 15th show in the North American portion of their tour.

This was my first time seeing Epik High and I was completely in awe at how amazing they are at performing and engaging with the audience. I was about 6 people away from barricade and it was such an amazing experience to be that close to the stage. HISTORY is always a fun venue to be at because it is so spacious.

For this tour, there was no opening act, but the show started at 8:30 PM with a little podcast clip of Tablo and Eddie Nam (Epik High’s manager) talking about Toronto and it was definitely a great way to start off the show.

The setlist was about 19 songs and included a mix of new and old songs such as; “Rain Song (Feat. Colde), Eyes Nose Lips, “Catch” (feat Hwa Sa) and more. My favourite performance was hands down “Rain Song” because that is my favourite Epik High song. I also really loved their performance of “On My Way” (feat. Jackson Wang) which is on their latest album Strawberry. Epik High also performed the song “All Day” which is actually RM of BTS’ song that Tablo is featured on. The transitions between songs were so funny and engaging and somehow always lead back to Drake haha.

Overall, the concert was amazing and I was so surprised with how energetic, loving and funny Epik High are in person. I highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.
