Welcome back to the eighth part in our series “BEYOND THE BEAT’S HIDDEN GEMS” where we share the amazing emerging artists that we discovered recently. In this article, we will share six artists we discovered in the last few weeks.

Riaan is a South Korean artist with approximately 78.4K monthly listeners on Spotify. He made his debut on July 30, 2024, with the single “Treat Me Better.” Since then, he has released two more singles: “Adore You” on January 31, 2025, and most recently, “Ben & Jerry” on June 25. That track is a collaboration with JUNNY who we absolutely love and he’s actually how we discovered Riaan in the first place.
We saw JUNNY post about “Ben & Jerry” a few days prior to its release, which led us to check out Riaan’s discography and we’re so glad we did. We sbplutely love his style of music.
Since the release of “Ben & Jerry,” Riaan’s monthly listeners have been growing steadily, and we’re excited to continue following his journey.

Laica is an artist born in Abu Dhabi, raised in Manila, and now based in California. She currently has around 81.9K monthly listeners on Spotify. She made her debut on January 28, 2020, with the single “Nobody Else But You,” a pre-release track for her debut EP Forever, which was released on February 25. Following that, she released her first full-length album, *i’m so fine at being lonely,* on June 8, 2021.
After taking a hiatus from music, Laica made her return on June 28, 2024, with the single “idc,” followed by her most recent release, “love again,” on May 16, 2025. We discovered her on May 9, just days before her latest single came out and instantly fell in love with her song “love u lately” from her first album.
Laica’s voice is truly unique and beautiful, and we can’t wait to hear what she releases next.

Ben Ellis is a Welsh singer-songwriter with around 32.4K monthly listeners on Spotify. He first gained popularity through TikTok, where his acoustic covers have earned him a following of over 140K. Ben made his official debut on March 9, 2022, with the single “not this time.” Following his debut, he released his debut EP *The Ed’s House* on November 15, 2023.
Throughout 2024, Ben continued to release music consistently, including the standout track “Does It Get Cold In California,” which dropped on October 16. That song is featured on his latest project, his sophomore EP The Hollywood EP, released on February 21, 2025.
We discovered Ben in early June while dealing with post-concert depression after Bradley Simpson’s show. With Spotify shuffle turned on, Ben’s “Does It Get Cold In California” came on and we instantly loved his music!

JENNA SUHL is a South Korean singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. She is under the agency MPLIFY and currently has 54.9K monthly listeners on Spotify. She made her debut on September 19, 2017 with the single “Lost Angels”, followed by “Million Times” on November 14. Both of these singles were pre-release tracks for her debut EP In Goddess We Trust which dropped on January 17, 2018.
JENNA consistently released songs throughout 2018-2020, also releasing her first full-length album Mantra on November 18, 2020. After a hiatus in 2021, she came back on October 18 ,2022 with her sophomore EP *BRAT.* She went on another hiatus and returned on April 16, 2025, with the single “Hills & Valleys”, followed by her latest release from June 17 titled, “Pretty Heart”.

kyu is a South Korean-American artist signed to NAISU Agency. He used to be a a trainee under PLEDIS Entertainment and later competed on the survival show I-LAND in 2020.
On March 26, 2025, kyu officially debuted with his single “Tempo.” While it remains his only release to date, the track has already surpassed 3.1 million streams on Spotify and earned him over 126,000 monthly listeners.
We’re big fans of “Tempo” and can’t wait to see what kyu shares next.

XTIE is a Grammy-featured electro-pop producer, singer and songwriter from Hong Kong, with 9.3K monthly listeners on Spotifhy. She started her career producing for other C-Pop artists before debuting as a solo artist on June 18, 2020, with the single “Flower Town”.
Between 2020 and 2023, XTIE consistently released music. Her debut album, APOLLO-23, released on June 2, 2023. She continued building her discography with more singles in 2024, and in 2025, she dropped “Good Luck Babe!” on January 31, followed by “+852” on June 18, the song that first introduced us to her.
We absolutely loved “+852” and can’t wait to hear what XTIE shares next.
