Welcome back to the sixth part in our series “BEYOND THE BEAT’S HIDDEN GEMS” where we share all the amazing and emerging artists that we discovered recently. We have not written one of these articles in a few months so, we are so excited to share our recent finds over the last 3 and a half months.

Evan Pak is a singer-songwriter with around 26.7K monthly listeners on Spotify. He made his debut on July 12, 2024 with the single “Fairytale” which has garnered over 123K streams since its release. Following his debut, Evan released “Like a Rose” in August 2024, “Bad Karma” in October and “Please” in December. “Please” is how we discovered Evan back in December through Spotify recommendations.
Evan’s latest release “Euphoria” just came out on January 31. We are so excited to follow Evan Pak’s journey and see his listeners grow.

Asha Gold is a singer-songwriter from London, UK who blends contemporary R&B with silky pop, soul and jazz. She currently has 22.5K monthly listeners on Spotify and made her debut on December 20, 2019 with the single “Too Good”. She released a few singles after her debut and on June 25, 2021, she released the single “Margarita” which is her most popular single with over 465K streams on Spotify.
We actually discovered Asha Gold a couple of months back on TikTok because she has been creating content as a female, musician and producer and we were really inspired by her. Although we were following her, we didn’t get any of her content on our “for you page” until a few weeks ago when a TikTok popped up of her promoting her latest single “Does That Mean You’re Ok?” which came out on November 8.
We’re so excited to hear more of Asha’s music and also follow her musical journey.

ICEBOX is a Filipino singer, songwriter and producer from Singapore who currently has 33.9K monthly listeners on Spotify. He made his debut on February 26, 2021 with the single “Lost In The Ocean (SIREN & OFV Remix)“ which was in collaboration with SIREN and OFV. His first solo single “padawan.” released on October 12, 2021.
In October 2023, he collaborated with lovlaine for the single “us being us” which is his most popular song with 275K streams. He released his debut album WHERE ARE YOU NOW THAT IT’S OVER? on July 26, 2024. His latest release “NOVEMBER” dropped on January 17 and is in collaboration with teem. This is the song that we first listened to by ICEBOX as one of our mutual friends posted it on their Instagram story.
We are so excited that we discovered ICEBOX and can’t wait to follow his journey.

fanfan is a twitch streamer, singer and songwriter from Vancouver, Canada who made her debut on February 14, 2024 with the single “Stuck”. Following her debut, she released the single “Southside” on February 22, 2024. This is her most popular song with over 760K streams on Spotify.
We discovered fanfan in January after the release of her single “Fool” on January 10. This was a song we constantly played throughout the month and we really love fanfan’s vibes and can’t wait to hear what else she will release this year.

igloobay is a South Korean band consisting of the members; Joymin (Vocals/Guitar), Hyeong Seok (Drums) and Kookoo (Bass). The group debuted on July 29, 2015 with the double single EP Walk Off which includes the singles “Winding Road” and “The World of Toys”. Since their debut, igloobay has gained around 300 monthly listeners on Spotify.
They have released quite a few songs since their debut. On April 30, 2023, they released the single “Sonic Youth” which is their most popular song with 17.8K streams. Their latest release is their EP Not Neverland which came out on November 23, 2024. We discovered them this month through Spotify and the first song we heard was “Peter.pan”.
igloobay is an underrated band and we cannot wait to see them grow and hopefully gain more listeners.

Midnight Jogging Club is a four-member band from South Korea consisting of Kangziwon (vocals/writer), Sangwoo (guitar), Chanjin Lee (keyboard) and Flexindoor (synthesizer). They made their debut on November 21, 2023 with the single “Start Button”. Since their debut, they have gained 2.3K monthly listeners on Spotify.
Following their debut single, they released “1 to 10” on March 2, 2024. This is their most popular song with 44.7K streams. As well, this is the single that introduced us to them via a TikTok video recommending their music. Their third release was for their debut EP Pulse, Raw which came out on August 2, 2024. We cannot wait to hear what else they will release in the future.
