Jeremy Zucker WELCOMES TORONTO TO THE “Garden State” TOUR

BY BRENESSA ROACH | OCTOBER 15, 2025

On October 9, 2025, New Jersey–based singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker, best known for his breakout hit “comethru” brought his Welcome to the Garden State Tour to Toronto’s Opera House. The intimate performance came in support of his fourth studio album, Garden State, released on August 22, 2025

Bebe Stockwell, a folk/indie-pop singer-songwriter from Boston, kicked off the night at 8:00 PM alongside guitarist Natalie Moosh. Bebe also played guitar while singing, adding to the beautiful, atmospheric folk energy she naturally exudes. Paying homage to her hometown, she performed an unreleased track titled “New England Regrets”, which was a standout track from her set and one we can’t wait to see officially released. She also performed her single Call Me By Your Name,” inspired by the film of the same name. Before performing, Bebe shared a heartfelt story about watching the movie with her dad over Christmas and how he encouraged her to write a song that captured the story from start to finish.

Prior to this show, we hadn’t heard of Bebe Stockwell, but after witnessing her set, we’re definitely following her journey from here on out. She brings so much warmth and soul to her music, delivering moments that feel both vulnerable and deeply personal.

Jeremy took the stage shortly after Bebe’s set, opening with a stunning visual of a cozy home. He walked on stage with a guitar case in hand, taking out his guitar to sit on the front steps of the house and perform his opening song, “hometown.” He was joined by his bandmates Ian Meltzer on drums, Alex Pfender on guitar, and Todd Zucker on bass and keys.

This beautifully cinematic entrance set the tone for the entire night, inviting the audience into the world of Garden State, an album that offers a glimpse into Jeremy’s journey of leaving his New Jersey home to pursue music. The record explores themes of memory, nostalgia, identity, and what it means to return home after growing and changing, all of which Jeremy expressed not just through his setlist, but through the visuals and emotion woven throughout the night.

Despite the reflective tone of the songs, the crowd’s energy never stopped. From start to finish, the cheers and singing were so loud, especially during “comethru,” when every single person in the venue joined in. Throughout the show, Jeremy interacted with fans, including an impromptu game of rock-paper-scissors on stage and an unforgettable moment when he invited a fan celebrating their birthday on stage to perform a duet of “Cry With You.”

The entire night felt truly special, from the beautifully crafted visuals and setlist to the stunning interior of the Opera House, everything came together seamlessly. Jeremy closed the night with firefly,” a rare and unexpected addition to the setlist, before finishing the night with the crowd favourite, “supercuts.”

Overall, it was a beautiful, emotional night and one fans will look back on and relive for a long time to come.

A massive thank you to Jeremy Zucker, his team, and Live Nation for the opportunity to cover this show.
