keshi’s REQUIEUM TOUR BRINGS RAW EMOTION TO TORONTO WITH starfall & Mac Ayres

BY BRENESSA ROACH | JULY 31, 2025

On July 29, 2025, Vietnamese-American artist keshi performed at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto as part of his REQUIEUM Tour. This tour follows the release of his latest album REQUIEUM, which dropped on September 13, 2024. The show featured opening performances by starfall and Mac Ayres. The Toronto stop was the 4th stop on his 14-city North American Tour.

At 8PM, starfall kicked off the night with “weeknight,” joined by guitarist Noah Koslen. We first featured starfall in May 2023 and have been following his journey ever since, so seeing him live was a full-circle moment. His energetic stage presence lit up the room as he closed out his set with fan favourites like “cigarettes” and “intentions”.

At 8:30PM, Mac Ayres took the stage, opening with “Come Thru”. Stripped down with just his guitar, his performance was intimate and captivating. Fans were especially excited to hear “Easy”, which is a song we love.

At 9:15PM, keshi hit the stage and immediately hyped the crowd up with “Amen,” followed by “Say.” The moment he stepped out, the entire crowd was in awe. This was our first time seeing keshi live and wow. He’s one of those rare artists who somehow sounds even better live than on record. His vocals and adlibs were flawless, leaving us speechless and covered in goosebumps.

He delivered fan favourites like “beside you,” “Soft Spot,” and our personal favourite, “UNDERSTAND.” During “drunk,” he had the entire crowd singing along and was visibly emotional when he realized Toronto was the loudest crowd of the tour so far. The moment brought him to tears, and it was something truly special to witness.

We’re writing this two days later, and the post-concert blues have fully set in. That show was unforgettable, and we’re already counting down the days until we can see keshi live again.

Massive thanks to keshi, his team at Soka, and his tour manager Becky for providing us with a media pass and making it a night to remember forever.
