On Friday, May 30, American alt-pop artist Mark Tuan unveiled his latest single, “High As You,” marking a fresh chapter in his artistic journey with Transparent Arts. This track serves as the pre-release to a forthcoming project set to be launched later in the year.

Mark Tuan debuted in 2014 as a member of the Korean pop group GOT7, where he quickly became recognized for his talents as a rapper, vocalist, dancer, and songwriter. After over a decade building a career in South Korea, he returned home to Los Angeles in 2021 to embark on a solo path.

His debut solo album, the other side, arrived on August 26, 2022, followed by a successful tour with sold-out shows across North America, South America, and Asia.

“High As You” is a romantic alt-pop track produced by Captain Cuts—known for their work with artists such as Benson Boone, Måneskin, Sabrina Carpenter, and Halsey. The song captures the emotional high of an unforgettable love—described as the only high he’s ever truly known.

Sonically, this track marks a bold step forward for Mark, as he explores a new soundscape, pushing creative boundaries and revealing a more vulnerable, intimate side of his artistry. His evolving performance style is also on display in the official music video, which showcases his expressive choreography and emotional resonance.
