Welcome back to the second part in our “UK UNHEARD” series where we spotlight underrated and emerging talent from the UK music scene. In this article, we will highlight six artists who are making waves and deserve more listeners.

Alfie Jukes is a indie-pop singer and songwriter from Brighton, UK who made his debut on November 12, 2021, with the single “kinda wish.” Following his debut, he released “take my breath” in December and “that was quick!” in March 2022. Alfie really gained attention from fans worldwide after the release of “Spiderwebs” on December 9, 2022, which is currently his most played song with over 8 million streams on Spotify.
He consistently released songs throughout 2022 and 2023, releasing his debut EP *Little Omens* on September 15. After this release, Alfie completed two UK headline tours with with sold out shows in London, Brighton, Manchester and Leeds. He released a few more singles in 2024 while touring as a support act for Only The Poets in the first half of 2024 before releasing his second EP Sitting Pretty on April 5, 2024. Following his sophomore EP, he had a European headline tour with sold out shows in Utrecht, Cologne, Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Krakow and his biggest headline show yet in Amsterdam.
On April 16, 2025, Alfie Jukes released his debut album All Dressed Up For Nothing, which is how we first discovered him after his track “Too Much” played on shuffle following a listen to Bradley Simpson, a similarly styled artist.

Liang Lawrence is a half-English, half-Chinese singer and songwriter from Devon, England. She made her debut on October 1, 2020, with the single “Santa Cruz.” Liang’s music is a blend of indie folk, indie pop, electronic and soft rock.
After a two-year break post debut, she returned on November 18, 2022, with the single “Undercover Martyn.” On April 28, 2023, she released “(not) a love song” which since its release has become her most popular song with over 8.4 million streams on Spotify. The song served as a pre-release for her debut EP, letters to myself, released on August 18, 2023.
Liang continued to release throughout 2024, dropping her second EP, What’s Dead and Gone, on August 2. Later that year, she followed up with two singles, “Out Loud” on September 10 and “Kiss My Apocalypse” on November 19—two singles that we really enjoyed last year.
Her latest single, “A Day Off In Margaritaville,” dropped on July 11, 2025, and is another standout in her growing discography.

sambrook. is an independent indie folk artist who made his debut on November 12, 2022, with the single “all my fault.”. Since then, he’s released music consistently. In 2025 alone, he’s put out a bunch of singles including “diary entry #2” and “where i’m supposed to be” in January, “i can’t find a day.” in February, “when i know you exist.” in April, “what am i meant to know?” in May, and his most recent release, “how it was.” in June. We first discovered him through TikTok thanks to this latest track, which has also become his most popular song to date, with 51,000 streams on Spotify.

ISOLABELLA is an indie-pop singer-songwriter from Shropshire, UK, who made her debut on November 3, 2023, with the single “Landmines,” her most popular track with over 32.3K streams on Spotify. She followed it up with “4 walls” on May 2, 2024, and “Closure” on October 11.
In 2025, she released “BACKSEAT LOVER” on March 28, followed by her latest single “imNOTaprettygirl” on May 30, which is how we discovered her, after coming across her TikToks.

Sam Hong, known by his artist name Hongza, is a British-Asian indie, dream-pop and shoegaze artist from North London. He made his debut on July 7, 2020, with the single “Gone”. On May 11, 2021, Hongza released his debut EP, *Gen Z,* followed by his sophomore EP, *Inside My Mind,* on February 21, 2023.
We discovered Hongza recently on TikTok through his promo for “Lovesick,” which was released on June 11, 2024. His third EP, Coming Of Age, dropped on September 27, 2024. So far in 2025, he’s released one single: “Out Of Place,” on April 23.

Eva Liu, known by her artist name mui zyu, is a British-Hong Kong artist born in Northern Ireland and now based in London. Her music blends traditional Chinese instruments with sugary pop melodies. She made her debut on July 30, 2021, with the EP a wonderful thing vomits. Following that, she released her debut album, Rotten Bun for an Eggless Century, on February 24, 2023, which includes the single “Ghost with a Peach Skin,” the track which we first discovered on Spotify.
Her second album, nothing or something to die for, was released on May 24, 2024. So far in 2025, she has dropped one single, “When You’re Sleeping” on June 24.
